Blue Peru Haiku Jacket
Kimono style jacket with traditional sleeves is constructed from
recycled denim jeans using Victorian Crazy Quilt techniques. Double rows of topstitching are used to embellish the various
denim patches and keep with the 'jeans' theme of the piece. Actual jeans pockets have been carefully placed to function
as working pockets on the jacket. The jacket is lined in two colors of silk and fastens with a string of Peruvian coins.
A one-of-a-kind piece.

accented with lime colored machine embroidery. Hand braided lime and dark green silk threads form the cord closure.
